Hospital marketing cost: how our pricing works

Hospital marketing cost depends on scope, specialties and channels, so we quote after a free audit rather than selling fixed packages.

Hospital marketing cost depends on what you need done, how many specialties and locations you want to promote, which channels you use and how much you choose to spend on advertising. For that reason Adserr does not publish fixed package prices. We offer three engagement models (a monthly retainer, a one-time project, or advertising management), and we give you a written quote after a free hospital Google visibility audit, so the price reflects your actual situation rather than a generic bundle.

This page explains how each model works, what drives cost up or down, and what you get in return.

Three ways to work with us

ModelBest forHow it is billed
Monthly retainerOngoing marketing across SEO, Maps, social, content and reviewsA fixed monthly fee for an agreed scope
ProjectA defined piece of work with a clear end, such as a website or a launchA fixed fee for the project, usually in stages
Advertising managementRunning Google and Meta campaignsA management fee to Adserr; ad spend paid directly to the platforms

None of these models is priced per enquiry, per patient or per review, because the NMC's October 2026 guidelines say agency arrangements must not link payment to the procurement or referral of individual patients (clause 8.1(viii)).

Monthly retainer

A retainer suits hospitals and clinics that want continuous work: hospital SEO, Google Business Profile management, social media, review management and monthly reporting. The scope is written down at the start, including how many social media posts, pages, videos or review replies are included (Google Business Profile posts go out when there is real news, not to a quota), so both sides know what the fee covers. We usually review the scope together every quarter.

Project

Some work has a clear start and finish. Examples include a new hospital website, a department launch, a batch of doctor videos or a PR campaign for a new facility. Project fees are agreed in advance and typically billed in stages tied to milestones such as approval of the design or delivery of final files.

Advertising management and ad spend

When we run healthcare advertising on Google or Meta, there are two separate costs:

  • Ad spend is the money that buys clicks, calls or impressions. It is paid by you directly to Google or Meta, usually from a card or account in your hospital's name. It never passes through Adserr.
  • Management fee is what you pay Adserr for planning, writing compliant ads, building landing pages, tracking enquiries and optimising the campaigns.

Keeping these separate means you can see exactly what the platforms charged, and the ad accounts stay in your ownership if you ever change agencies.

What drives hospital marketing cost

These are the factors that most affect a quote:

  • Number of specialties and departments. Promoting one dental clinic is a smaller job than building pages, campaigns and content for twenty departments.
  • Number of locations or branches. Each branch has its own Google Business Profile, reviews and local search competition.
  • Channels involved. SEO, Maps, social media, ads, PR and video each need different skills and time.
  • Content volume. The number of articles, posts, reels and videos per month is often the biggest variable in a retainer.
  • Languages. Content in Malayalam, English and Arabic needs separate writing and checking, not just translation.
  • Competition in your area and specialty. Some specialties, such as IVF, cosmetic dermatology and orthopaedics, are heavily contested in Kochi search results and need more sustained effort.
  • Starting point. A hospital with a slow website, duplicate Maps listings or unanswered reviews needs some repair work before growth work.
  • Compliance sensitivity. IVF, ayurveda and cosmetic procedures need extra review time because the advertising rules are stricter.

What is included in every engagement

Whatever model you choose, some things are always part of the work:

  • A starting audit and a written plan with agreed goals
  • A compliance check on all patient-facing content before it is published
  • Your approval before anything speaks for your hospital or your doctors
  • Call and WhatsApp tracking where the channel allows it
  • A monthly report in plain language, covering calls, WhatsApp enquiries, appointment requests, rankings and ad spend
  • Ownership of your accounts, website and content stays with you

What is usually not included

To keep quotes clear, these are normally priced separately or paid by you directly:

  • Advertising spend on Google, Meta or other platforms
  • Print production, hoardings and other offline media costs
  • Paid media placements or sponsored articles
  • Third-party software subscriptions, such as a booking system or call-tracking numbers, where you need them
  • Travel outside Kerala for shoots or events

Frequently asked questions

How much does hospital marketing cost in Kerala?

There is no single figure, because a single-doctor clinic and a multispecialty hospital need very different amounts of work. Cost depends on specialties, locations, channels, content volume and ad spend. We quote after a free audit so the number is based on your real needs.

Why don't you publish package prices?

Fixed packages tend to include things a hospital does not need and leave out things it does. A short audit lets us scope only the work that will make a difference for you. You still receive a clear written quote before committing.

Is ad spend included in your fee?

No. Ad spend is paid by you directly to Google, Meta or other platforms, and our management fee is separate. This keeps spending transparent and keeps the ad accounts in your name.

Is there a minimum contract period?

This depends on the work. SEO and Maps work usually needs several months to show its effect, so retainers are normally agreed for a set initial period. Projects end when the agreed deliverables are complete. Terms are written into the proposal before you sign.

Can we start small and add services later?

Yes. A sensible approach is to start with one area, such as Google Business Profile and reviews, and add SEO, social media or advertising once the basics are working. The retainer scope can be revised as your needs change.

Who owns the website, ad accounts and content?

You do. Websites, domains, Google and Meta ad accounts, your Google Business Profile and the content we create for you remain your hospital's property. We work on them with the access you grant us.
