How this hospital directory works
Where the facts come from, what we leave out on purpose, who runs the directory and how to correct a listing.
The Kerala hospital directory helps patients and families compare hospitals on facts that can be checked: beds, departments, accreditation, emergency care and the insurance and government schemes a hospital accepts. Every fact about beds, departments, accreditation, schemes, emergency care and contacts links to the source that states it.
Sources
| Fact | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| KASP / PMJAY | State Health Agency Kerala's district lists of empanelled public and private hospitals, cross-checked with its list of hospitals de-empanelled up to 17 March 2026 |
| CGHS | The CGHS Thiruvananthapuram list of empanelled hospitals (December 2025 copy published by CSIR-NIIST) |
| ECHS | The Ministry of Defence's list of 152 ECHS-empanelled hospitals in Kerala, given to the Rajya Sabha on 15 December 2025 |
| ESI hospitals | The Kerala Insurance Medical Services directory of ESI hospitals |
| MEDISEP and ESI tie-ups | The hospital's own website, marked with an asterisk. The current MEDISEP list (Phase II, from February 2026) and ESIC tie-up list could not be reached, and the older official lists we found (MEDISEP Phase I of 2022, ESIC of February 2024) are out of date |
| NABH accreditation and entry-level certification | The NABH portal and each hospital's NABH certificate |
| NABL (laboratory) | The NABL directory of accredited laboratories |
| JCI | JCI's own directory of accredited organisations, including the programme (hospital or ambulatory care) |
| Beds in government hospitals | Sanctioned beds in the Directorate of Health Services list of March 2023, and the National Health Profile 2023 for medical college hospitals |
| Other bed figures | Sanctioned beds on the NABH certificate, or an exact figure on the hospital's own website |
| Departments | The scope on the NABH certificate, or the hospital's own department list |
| Emergency care, insurance desk, contacts, doctors | The hospital's own website, and the Directorate of Health Services list of 2024-25 for government hospitals' phone numbers |
Those facts link to their sources, and each page shows the date they were checked. A missing scheme or department means the information was not found in these sources, not that the hospital doesn't offer it. Hospitals change, so confirm anything important with the hospital before you travel or are admitted.
What we include and leave out
The directory lists hospitals with inpatient beds: medical college hospitals; government general, district, taluk and ESI hospitals; and private, trust and co-operative hospitals that are on an official scheme list, hold NABH accreditation or certification, or state their bed count. It also lists inpatient specialty hospitals, such as eye and cancer hospitals. Clinics, standalone laboratories and diagnostic centres, AYUSH hospitals and primary health centres are not listed.
We deliberately leave out:
- Rankings and "best" or "top" labels. Lists are alphabetical unless you sort them.
- Ratings and reviews. Each hospital page links to its Google Maps listing instead.
- Doctors' names. Each hospital page links to the hospital's own list of doctors.
- Prices. Tariffs change and depend on the room, the treatment and your insurance.
Who runs it, and the conflict of interest
The directory is run by Adserr Hospital & Healthcare PR Agency, a healthcare marketing agency opposite Aster Medcity in Kochi. No hospital in the directory is an Adserr client today; if one becomes a client, its page will say so. Adserr's services for hospitals include managing Google Business Profiles and asking patients for reviews, so read Google reviews as one input among many.
None of this affects a listing: hospitals cannot pay to be listed, to be placed higher or to change their information, and every hospital is shown in the same way using the same sources. The cashless enquiry help is free, and no hospital, insurer or TPA pays Adserr for enquiries or admissions.
Corrections
If something is wrong, email hello@adserr.com with the page address and a link to an official source that shows the correct information. We check corrections against the source before changing a page. Hospitals can ask for corrections in the same way, free of charge.
Enquiries and your privacy
The cashless pre-approval enquiry form does not send anything to a server. When you press the button, WhatsApp opens with your message to Adserr, and nothing is shared until you send it. We use what you send only to tell you which insurance desk to contact, never for marketing, and we don't share it. We delete it 90 days after replying, or sooner if you ask. Please don't send medical reports, diagnoses or treatment details. Our privacy notice has the details.
The directory is information, not medical advice. In an emergency, go to the nearest hospital with an emergency department, or call 108 or 112.
Frequently asked questions
Is Adserr an insurance company or TPA?
No. Adserr is not an insurer, a third-party administrator (TPA) or an insurance intermediary, and it cannot approve claims. Pre-approval decisions are made by your insurer or TPA, working with the hospital.
Why is a hospital missing?
It may be outside the scope above, or it may not be on the official lists we used. Hospitals that are only on a list of de-empanelled hospitals, with no accreditation or published bed count, were left out. Email hello@adserr.com with an official source and we will check it.
What does the asterisk next to a scheme mean?
It means the hospital's own website says it accepts that scheme, but we could not check it against the scheme's official list. Confirm with the hospital's insurance desk before admission.
How often is the information updated?
Each page shows the date its facts were checked against the linked sources. When an official list changes, the affected hospital pages are updated after the change has been checked.
Need help with cashless treatment?
Tell us the hospital and your insurance or scheme, and we will tell you which insurance desk to contact. The help is free, and hospitals cannot pay to be listed or placed higher. How this directory works.
